If you saw my last blog you'd pretty much guess I'm abit of a fan of skull prints and well just skulls in general. I love to mix a skull print with something cute and girlie. That's my idea outfit.
I'm on holiday tomorrow (only great yarmouth but a breaks a break)  so was out shopping and found some gorgeous new skull items :)

On my first shopping trip, I got this beautiful new satchel bag.  I saw it in a local little independent clothes shop on the walk into town. It was sat in the window  calling me "Donna, Donna don't you want?" I decided to be good and get the bits I went shopping for first and thought if I have money left I'm getting it. As all my goodie I brought were little bargains, I had cash left and it was a race back home before the shop closed. We got there at 5.10 so I was bloody lucky lol.

Ignore my paint splattered carpet this was taken in my art studio :)
This lovely bag was only £20 total bargain!! I loved the mix of the skulls and roses. It's pretty big so prefect for on holiday as I can carry a drink and a light jacket just in case.

Sadly I can't share a link to where you can buy this bag as they don't have one but the shops called "Fashion avenue" if your ever in the  Harlow area check them out :)

My next skully buy was a skirt.
I'd not tried the whole wiggle skirt/dress trend as being a petite 5ft women, I kinda guessed they wouldn't really do much for me, but I found a gorgeous pink and blue aztec  wiggle skirt. As it was only £7 I took a chance and now love them. Can't show you a photo as its now packed ready to go. As it was so comfy I decided to search for another one to travel in. Off to ebay I went and found this:
For only £4.75 and with p+p only  £1.99 how could I saw no!  This fits so spot on and I'd say it finishes mid calf on me. Pretty much where I'd want it.
You can buy it here or they have a great choice of styles if skulls aren't your thing :)
For my drive to great yarmouth I'm planning on teaming this skirt with my cute little top and my chunky studded ring.
This little top was from primark, I find it so comfortable and being loose fitting prefect for the summer. I've since brought it in a about 5 other colours as they just go with anything. My studded ring I brought about a year ago online from here  but  it seems like they have sold out of this ring so I was lucky :)

my last skull buy comes from primark.
Every girl loves new undies and as I've seen to have had a late growth spurt and have grown. I've needed to stock up on some new bras. Who could resist this pretty skull set for only £4!? see no one :P

Anyway these are my new buy and if  I don't catch you guys before my holiday, have a great week and keep safe :)
Feel free to leave me a comment below and tell me what you think. Would you buy these?

till next time,

And she lay on the bank, the wind light as a thief
As I kissed her goodbye, I said, 'All beauty must die'
And lent down and planted a rose between her teeth "

Back in April I was in London to see "carnaby street the musical" with my little sister, when we stumbled across this little dress shop. Now I can't give you the name of it , nor the location, as, well I forgot.  No amount of googling has helped me find this shop!!!
Anyway They were selling all these cute dresses, buy one get one half price. So we couldn't resist having a look. The prices ranged from £10 to about £35 so very affordable. Our two dresses only came to £30 together so a nice bargain.
As the weather has brighten up I finally got to wear mine.

Relaxing in my Sisters garden.

Now anyone who knows me, will know I love skulls and my style varies between girly and more of a rock chick thing. So this dress was a perfect combo.
I loved the blue colour, it drew me in straight away.  The fit was spot on for me, I don't like super short dresses or flashing to much flesh. This probably fits knee length on me, but then I am a small 5 foot lol.
The material feels really nice and soft, kinda like a satin feel. The only problem I had was sometimes the material would stick to my legs when walking, but that was only once or twice.

This is what I teamed my dress with.

Jeweled skull ring.
I wanted to bring out the skull and girlieness abit more.
The necklace has a cluster of tiny butterflies and was a present from my little sister, brought in next. Sadly as she brought it before Christmas I don't think you can still get it but here's the Online site here
This is probably one of my favourite skull rings. The artist in me loves the engraved detailing and I love the jeweled eyes.
The ring was brought from  here  St8ment.co.uk a great little online shop, I own quite a few pieces from them now. They do exactly what the name says, loads of beautiful statement accessories at reasonable prices.

Close up detail!
Close up of the pattern. When I wore this dress to work the other day, my boss commented on what a nice dress it was. It wasn't till she got closer that she even noticed the skulls.

Me and my two youngest nieces.
When I was thinking up a music related title for this blog, My favourite Kylie song was what came to mind. I think the song fits perfectly with the dress. Hope you guys follow my way of thinking LOL.

What do you guys think? Would you wear this dress?
Let me know your thoughts below :)

Bye for now guys, catch ya next time!
I'll leave you with Kylie and Nick Cave:  where the wild roses grow.

"Well, it's one for the money,
Two for the show,
Three to get ready,
Now go, cat, go.

But don't you step on my blue suede shoes.
You can do anything but lay off of my blue suede shoes. "

I went shopping last week and found myself in New look- in the shoe department and well that's a dangerous place for a women to find herself!
Worst still they had a sale on!! double danger right there!
While shopping for birthday presents for my sister Emma, I came across these babies

I saw these some time ago while out on a girlie shopping trip and was tempted.
Me and my youngest sister actually had a little argument over who should buy these- never come between a girl and her shoes lol. She said they would go with most of her new work uniform and my point was there shoe boots and well i love shoe boots lol. Long story short, they weren't in her size (5) and I had no cash on me at the time, so we both left empty handed. So imagine my delight when I spotted the last pair (in a size 3) sat there lonely on the shelf. They called me "Donna, Donna come here we've so sad on our own, we need friends" When I picked them up to give them a hug (you know to cheer them up a bit) I saw they were reduced from £20 to £10. That was me sold there! Bargain!

I love shoe boots, there definitely my go to shoe, you won't be surprised to hear I'm getting a bit of a collection. Soon my family will be banning me from buying any more, just like  they have with shorts, but thats another story :P

These shoes are  comfortable and just the right heel height for me, as I'm rubbish at walking in heels. They're not as bright as they appear in these photos, more of a navy colour, so they will go most things. That's the beauty of a shoe boot, they can be dressed up or just thrown on with jeans and a t-shirt.
I've not worn them yet but I will let you know how I get on with them and what I team them with etc at a later date.

Whats your fashion obsession? Mine as you know is shorts and shoe boots- maybe Caroline flack is my long lost twin. Well I wish I had those legs :)

Till next time guys,
feel free to leave me a comment and tell me your thoughts on these shoes.
Take care  :D
